Rimi Logistics is looking for an experienced and motivated DC Operations Manager to lead and develop the operations of our distribution center and warehouses in Laagri, Estonia. Reporting to the Baltic Operations Director (based in Latvia), you will lead a team and oversee the core warehouse processes - goods receiving, storage, order picking and dispatch - ensuring efficient, high-quality operations across a dynamic Baltic environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, proven people-management skills, and the ability to drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement.

You will be based at our new, modern and energy-efficient logistics center in Laagri, which brings together the distribution center, the central kitchen and Rimi Estonian head office under one roof, offering a comfortable and well-equipped working environment.

We will trust you with:

• Managing, planning, organizing and overseeing the core functions of the distribution center and warehouses to ensure efficient, high-quality operations

• Maintaining standardized and effective operational processes and driving continuous improvement together with all Rimi Logistics Baltic sites

• Monitoring and ensuring the achievement of operational KPIs - productivity, cost per case and the reduction of picking claims

• Analyzing and optimizing procedures and processes, and ensuring compliance with legislation, customer requirements, hygiene standards, the self-control system and the BRCGS standard

• Ensuring order in the warehouses and distribution center, including the availability of technical equipment and support

• Preparing, analyzing and presenting performance reports to Baltic management

• Leading, motivating and developing the team and supporting employees' growth and engagement

• Preparing and controlling the department budget and ensuring the rational use of resources together with HR

• Participating in developing and implementing strategy and advising management on market opportunities and process optimization

• Representing the company at Baltic level in communication with the client

We expect from you:

• Higher education, preferably in logistics

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar managerial position

• Good understanding of warehouse and distribution center operation processes

• Strong people-management and leadership skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work across a multi-site environment

• Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• A reliable, accountable and result-oriented approach

• Good knowledge of Estonian, with conversational-level English (needed for communicating with colleagues across the Baltics and for working with our systems and software)

Compensation: 3700-4800 EUR per month gross. The exact salary will depend on the assessment of the candidate's competencies, experience and skills relevant to the job requirements. Additional benefits apply according to the company's policy.
