Rimi Eesti Food is looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking finance professional to lead our accounting unit. As our Chief Accountant, you will oversee accounting team, ensure operational excellence, oversee compliance, and deliver timely, accurate preparation of financial statements.

What you bring to the team

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA) will be considered an advantage

• Previous experience as a Chief Accountant

• Excellent knowledge of Estonian accounting and tax legislation

• Experience working with accounting systems (SAP experience is an advantage)

• Strong analytical thinking and experience in improving processes

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Very good Estonian and English language skills (English is essential for Baltic‑level cooperation and software use)

What you will be doing

• Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards

• Organize and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes

• Coordinate the audit process and maintain professional cooperation with external auditors

• Oversee compliance with tax regulations

• Collaborate closely with other departments to support company’s overall goals

Compensation

Salary: 3600–4500 EUR gross per month, depending on candidate’s experience, competencies, and skills. Additional bonuses and benefits according to company policy
